Is there a site anywhere on the web that has a reliable (honest) list of rim weights? After snooping around the internet this morning I discovered that a salsa delgado cross is claimed to weigh 515 grams and a deep v is claimed at 520 grams. I have a delgado on my 29er so I know its super duper tough, probably more tough than the deep v I have. I think the delgado looks better and it can take wider tires too. Is the internet lying to me about the weights of these rims? Is there any foreseeable reason that I shouldn't use a delgado for my next wheel build?

Weight Weenies seems pretty trustworthy, especially since they list both "manufacturer's claimed weight" and "real weight" (as submitted by the user base).

I've made a habit of weighing each gadget as I purchase/find/scam/acquire it, and storing the records in a Filemaker database, along with details such as manufacturer, serial number, cosmetic condition, price, source, and the build on which I plan to use it. This allows me not only to track my bits and pieces as they migrate from one project to another, and of approximate cumulative weight, but also to keep track of what I've spent on each build :-0

I did have a wheel built with a Salsa Delgado, but I got it as a built wheel and weighed it as such. As it had a honkin' big/heavy hub (Sturmey-Archer freewheel+drum brake) that I have no separate weight for, I doubt that number would be of any help to you...
