I have an old road bike conversion (threaded) that I want to throw a threadless stem on. The bike only has a headset on it, marked 22.2mm. What size threadless converter would I need? Thanks!

I have never been a fan of those converters. On a few of my bikes I have just gotten a 1" threadless headset and gotten a new fork. I do not know how attached you are to the original fork but I have had better experiences going this route.

They aren't that pretty, but they get the job done.
  1.
You can replace the headset with a threadless headset — about $30 — then you just need a shim. Shims are quite inexpensive and often come with 1" stems.
