Lately velospace has had a spat of people who've joined the site to do driveby hating on bikes.
This is a reminder that the Rules prohibit such comments.
I have no problem banning people who break this rule. -

haha, IMHO this site was a lot better like 4 years ago when it didn't have any bullshit forums or child molesters. Having a national forum where nobody really lives in the same place or personally knows each other means nobody cares about whats going on and the verbal exchanges are about as interesting as a senior citizen criterium -

You can flag comments on bikes as inappropriate using the Moderation buttons. I prefer if you send me private messages about specific users rather than calling out publicly, but to be honest public flogging now and then serves as an example to those who dare be d-bags
I will see what I can do about getting Moderation buttons on forum comments -

I dont know if this is the right place or if it's been posted before but this ARMAN guy on velospace posting in the buy/sell area is a fucking scammer. he scammed me and he scammed another member of this forum. He also goes by the name BIKEMAN, and his email is Milanobiker. he's also on ebay selling under RUMKATA86.
fuck that guy.
His real name is Rumen Stefanov Rangelov living in bulgaria, so if you run into him or anything, punch him in the dick. -

Remember to ALWAYS use paypal when you're sending strangers money for stuff over the internet. I wish there were a better company to use for that kinda transaction but at the very least you've got some protection if things go south.
I've sold / bought loads of stuff from our little classifieds section here and have yet to have an issue but I know if I did that money'd be coming back to me for sure.
