if you are riding on the track --- on a budget---- the trek t-1---
if you are into the build--- colnago---- or a vintage paramount.... big $....
aggressive?--- time trial pinarello (or even a new piny)
wheels and ratio aside--- steel, vintage, tight geometery....

Do you want track specific, something with braze ons, more relaxed? Frame shopping is rough. If it was me and I had the money to spend I would buy a Rivendell Quickbeam. Front and rear canti mounts and everything I need for racks and fenders.

I like vintage... tight geometry is important.

hmmmmmmmmm. For good quality track frames with tight geometry I was always a fan of the NJS stuff. Most of the frames were built to order so the quality is nice. Can be pricey sometimes. All the people who used to import them for cheap are not doing it anymore.

the njs frames are sketchy to buy second hand thou make sure you ride it before you buy it thats always the most important thing , it would suck to order one of those wrecked njs frames and find out the forks are bent or sometrhing else

Very true! Asians are also quite tiny. Bike fitting for them is a bit different. My girlfriend is asian and setting up bikes for her is hard sometimes.

If I had the money? Tarmac Sl2 with Zipps or something and Sram RED. As far as steel track bikes go, anything cool, NJS or not. I suppose a Kalavinka or something because Kalavinka sounds cool, pretty much any old steel track bike would suffice for me, with some stiff steel drops, 75s, and Dura Ace to Open Pro CDs. For BMX, I have the best bike in the world, kinda glad we didn't trade jam guy, I re-found BMX and it was great ;)
