I am building a new bike. I just bought a Pake Track Frame and I dont know too much about what bottom bracket i should buy.

Any suggestions? I want a bottom bracket that is high quality but not absurdly expensive.

    Thank You.

Depends what cranks you are going to use. Personally, I used to use Sugino 75's with a Phil Wood BB...which is expensive, but I just switched over to the Omnium cranks and they are fantastic. No bottom bracket is needed, as they are 2 piece cranks. Very stiff and light. Check them out. Good price also.

Yes the Phil Wood is nice. Incredibly nice. Also expensive (come on guys $115 is damn near what he paid for his frame). For someone buying a Pake' usually money isn't falling outta their ass.
Depending on the crankset you'd do just fine with either a Shimano or Sugino sealed bottom bracket. Both are bomb proof and spin great. They also don't cost more than $25 each.
The Sugino pairs up perfectly to the Sugino Messenger crankset and gets you a nice chainline due to it's 103mm length.
The Shimano is very similar and matches up with a variety of single speed / track cranksets. Usually you'll see that one in the 107mm length.

If you got the cash go with Phil Wood pretty much every time. But if not those two should work just fine.

Well of course. I mean, the spindle is already part of the crank arms and the bearings come with the cranks as a complete set, so going out and having to buy a separate bottom bracket is not needed. I'm assuming he does not already have crank arms and needs those as well.
