General: 86 Peugeot Triathlon Super Vitus 980 Chrome Fork

I guess the bike gods are getting even. I bought the bike in pristine condition at a garage sale a few months ago only rode it a few times; but yesterday I trashed the front fork on the rear bumper of a 4x4 pickup. Rim is OK cause I tried to sacrifice my body, ended up sacrificing my arm & fork. Any ideas on where I can get a replacement?? I mean the fork.

Good old eBay. I found chrome Tange fork for a Super Vitus frame a while back; it wasn't a prefect match, but it made the bike rideable until the right one did show up Good price, too...
