I am new to road bikes. I put an ad up on craigslist to sell my cruiser (a '41 Columbia Replica) so i could use the $ to buy a road bike instead because I've started riding alot more this year. I got a bite back from a guy with a '69 Crescent who wants to trade. I've had a really difficult time finding out what these bikes are worth from researching on the web. I'm selling my Cruiser for $350 which is an Awesome price already. I figured i'd tell the guy i'd take the Crescent + some cash as trade for my bike but i have no idea what the Crescent might be worth. He sent me pix of it. It's the standard orange w/ decals. Does anyone know roughly what one might pay for one these days?

    who knows
  1.
my friend picked one up and converted to fixed since all the ten speed components were trash. I saw one tonight in good condition still as a ten speed.
The Crescent is Swedish made and there are only a few different models.
Price would depend on the condition of the parts.
$300-350 sounds good, again depending on the condition of the bike/parts.
Again really awesome rare frame I'd get it.

Depends a lot on the model. Try this for info: http://www.classicrendezvous.com/Sweden/Crescent.htm. Have a fondness for them, have to say.
