I don't think you'd ruin it... the point of a leather saddle (other than it eventually molding itself to your ass) is that its more durable. -

In all seriousness. If it is your everyday rider they are durable but are very susceptible to rain. They can take awhile to break in and they are super expensive and heavy. For a trick bike I would just run a plastic saddle, like the one I have for sale! Orange kashimax! Neon orange to be exact. Be the envy of all your track standing friends! -

I think that just sold me on it, but only if you can guarantee the envy.
besides just looking silly, if you have bailed off your bike or just laid it down as many times as I did with my bmx, then leather is something you want to stay away from. -

1. brooks will look shitty on your bike (i can predict that)
2. brooks will for sure break if you drop it
3. its like $85 for a b17, do you wanna take the risk?
4. your girlfriend is an idiot
get the cheapest shit you can find, break it, and then get a new one. -
