I used to play drums in a band named 'These borders were drawn in blood'. We played a ton of shows, but never put anything out or left Houston
I jam some sloppy d-beat with a friend whenever he's in town (which ain't too often), but nothing other than a couple of radio shack mic'd recordings became of it:

WOW. this is amazing. the demo is definitely my favourite release, stoked you were the drummer. i drum as well and definitely paid a lot of attention to the drums. second-rate machines was the first song i listened to every day last summer while biking to work. what a coincidence!
on a side note, a buddy of mine's last name is cadwallader. -

Thank you for the kind words! I had no idea anyone even cared about the drums. I suck at the drums on all those records! That is soooo cool his last name is Cadwallader. We actually had a woman call us once and she ended up being Algernon Cadwalladers great grand daughter. It was an odd conversation. Check out my new band, Ape Up! It is at the top somewhere. -

Drummers are definitely underrated. I've appreciated the way percussion really brings a song together. Hence becoming a drummer ayt an early age. I also play guitar and dcream in a kermit the ffrog'esque voice on occasion. I goto philly, nyc, and soon to be the east bay quite a bit, so if any folks in those areas wanna do an online project, hit me up!
DruDrummers are always. under appreciated, since their not front and center when performing. I've always been fascinated with the drums (hence becoming a drummer), and I always enjoy listening to the various ways people bring songs together through percussion. Stephen perkins from janes addiction was definitely a great influence on me at an early age, and was ultimately the reason I started drumming (even though you can't tell from the aforementioned myspace link, wheere I sucked ass :P
