    Whats the deal with this Super Zen Chainring and why is it 400 dollars. Is it just expensive because of the type of aluminum its made with. I think its gagis aluminum. Just wanted a little input from anyone thats got one or anyone thats knows the deal.

    Jesus Christ. That is just a ridiculous price for a track chainring. The Sugino Track Zen was already a replacement for the Sugino 75 ring, and after riding both with the same chain/cog setup, I can say from experience, I could not feel or hear that big of a difference. So, I doubt there would be an extra 300 dollar difference between the super ring and the normal Zen track.

    I bet someone will buy it however.

    when your track frameset costs $5000 and your front wheel cost $3500, $300-400 doesn't seem like a lot to spend on a chainring. that thing isn't for street use.

    Yeah, you're right. I guess people that think the most expensive parts on the market are necessary will buy it.

    I bet that the type of aluminum they used is just really expensive or light or something. It will get you mad street cred ha

    also i believe it's titanium plated, and the teeth are hand finished and polished.
    but still..
