I've ridden mine about 10 miles every day for the past two months and it rides amazing. If you plan on doing tricks it may not be the best wheel, but for regular riding I think it's great.

I ride 54 miles a day..... I ride on a bike trail to commute to work... No potholes and no tricks for me.... SO, these wheels are LIGHT and SMOOTH.

If you wanna trick, get the b43 ( i have that too )... That wheel is BOMB proof and wont fold.

They should be listed as H+Sons and nothing else, haha.. Well, that is how they're sold

I have a 700C H+Son 32H Hoshi Bladed Spokes laced 3-Cross to a Phil hub, and have taken it about 5 miles a day from school and around town.
    No problems what so ever.

I have however gone over a pot hole, and lo-and-behold, the Soma Everwear's sidewall burst when my tube flattened.

    The rim?
    Still perfect.
    No bends. Perfectly true.

Damn Soma Everwears suck massively though.

I'm about 240lbs, and I was biking pretty fast with shades (it was VERY sunny in Davis), and when I went into the tree-y area that made the ground hard to see, I ran over a pot hole too fast =/

So the exploding taco thing... must've been from one CRAZY stunt, because I'm most definitely sure I'm heavier than that guy.

let us just get one thing clear... these rims are not light. they may be light-er for what they are. but they still aren't light.

Do you ride your bike for work? or just to work? Even if you averaged 20 miles an hour on a 54 mile commute that's still half of your freetime. Throw in dinner and a shower and you've got about enough time left to watch seinfeld and crawl in bed.

Yeah true... They're NOT super light... But, they are light for 42mm of wheel

I live in Sacramento, Ca.... I work in Folsom, ca.... We have river trails... 26 + miles each way... So, roughly 54 miles a day... It takes me anywhere from 1.5hr- 2 hrs to complete my ride... So, essentially Im away for 12 hours from my house...

Im a busy person, hahaha... Thank Goodness I own my own business.. But, I still have time to build nice bikes and time for my family!!
