    shimano 105 (or similar) downtube shifter, left side (front derailleur). Ill but the pair if necessary. Its muched preffered that they come with the convex washer thingamajigger that goes between the shifter and frame.

    WTB: front wheel or set of wheels for a beater bike. Three possibilities:

    1. A cheap 700c front wheel with a silver CXP21 rim. I have a rear wheel with a Mavic CXP21 rim (and black spokes; yuck). If I could at least get something with the right rim, that would be great.
    2. If you had a straight 32-hole CXP21 rim, I'll take that and build it up with a cheapo front hub I have.
    3. Low-end matching 700c wheelset. Would like silver rims; other than that, pretty much anything will do.

    As said, this is for a beater bike. Could be a single speed, multispeed, whatever. I'm just trying to get something running. I'm in the Boston area and would be happy to drive 30 miles or go out to one of the commuter rail end stations (Providence, Worcester, etc.).

    FUCK. I had just finished typing up this big WTB post and the power was knocked out by a wind gust. Here's the short version:

    I'm building this.

    I WANT:

    silver Thomson 27.2 seatpost, setback or straight, 330 or 410mm only. NO BLACK.

    700c fixed rear wheel (fixed/free preferred, but whatever). Open Sport rim or better (no aero or deep-ish rims pls), Formula hub or better. Color is pretty irrelevant, but I would prefer silver through and through. Must be 120mm but if I can respace that's fine. Ideally I would like to be able to use it on a 120mm bike and a 130mm bike, but this is only important if the hub is fixed/free.

    165mm track cranks, 144 BCD, brand is negotiable. A ring is cool too, 1/8" required, 49T preferred. A 68mm English, sealed bearing BB for a 42mm chainline would be a big bonus.

    Front dual pivot brake, standard reach, black or silver, Shimano 105 quality or better.

    Paul's E-Lever, color irrelevant. 23.8 (standard road) clamp diameter.

    I have all of this shit to trade, as well as an older XT/Mavic 221 26" mountain wheelset and a Kelly 26" rigid fork. Pretty much everything off my Jamis.
