How much would you pay? cranks, chainrings, cogs, hubs?
  1.
saw that on ebay huh? well unless you're building a restoration or something that came with ten pitch i wouldnt buy it. what happens when you wear out your chain or cog or chainring? good luck finding replacements.

yeah... cool rare stuff but I guess not so practical. I've seen 1 or 2 guys here using 10mm pitch thought it was interesting.

Interesting, yes -- a crazy part of me wishes 10mm pitch had become the standard. But since it didn't, you'd be cooked once that chain is done. Sure, you could hope to find an NOS one, but the odds aren't good given that Shimano stopped making them at least a quarter-century ago...

i saw a full DA 10-pitch track group, nos, go for like $200 a few years back. crank, chain, cog, and hubs. i think it may have even included pedals at the time. what's the going rate now?

Hi, I completed a 10 pitch group in about a year with diligent, if not crazed, searching. Trackstarnyc had a good price but I missed it. I even have two extra hubs as well. The stuff is out there and its beautiful. Don't buy the one on ebay. Its over priced by about 800 dollars. My set up is going on a 85 Casati track. Got a extra chain too. That one hurt to buy though. I think it'll be worth it. RC
