    I got these Elkhide grips from velo-orange.com. (http://www.velo-orange.com/elsecibigr.html). They're pretty nice; however, I'm a little intimidated by installing them. You have to sew them on, and I've never done that before...
    My bars also are more traditional track drop bars, so it's more of a steep curve, and not as much of a straight space. Has anyone ever used/installed these grips and have any advice for me? Anything would help, thanks.

    Well, I got it done with the help of another velospace member. Looks great.

    I just installed my second pair of them a few days ago. its not so bad and if it comes out weird you can always just undo it and try again. The instructions that come with them are pretty good. Just sit down with a beer and go for it.

    I wrapped my bars with a snot tape,followed by a cloth tape, then stitched the elkhide on using the baseball stitch. It's a quick learn but take your time for best results. I also proofhide'd them but ymmv
