So I'm looking at a deal in which a frame, purported to be a Shimano 600, would be traded for one of my bikes. This is kinda confusing, especially since I can't find any information on it. It was purchased at Trackstar, and it looks like pretty steep track geo with track ends. I've heard of a few Shimano branded BMX frames from way back being built by Tange, is this a similar situation? Any help would be appreciated.

I can only think of it being the shimano 600 parts that are on the bike. but i could be wrong.

That's what comes up on a Google search, obviously, bur It's a legit track frame with Sugino 75s, etc. I'm not trying to hate on the guy or whatever, I'm just trying to find the genesis of the frame, and make sure the trade is worth my while.

It was not made by Shimano or Tange. It uses Tange lugs all around. Also has dura ace headset and bottom brackets. They were commemorative frames built for the 1996 summer games. Your not gonna find information on google. Ask some old heads and do some research. That is how I found out.

Also, it was either built by Don Walker or Bob Jackson. I lost the email with the info in it and I am pretty sure it was Don Walker.

Was it one of those white frames with the blue/green stripes? I've always thought those looked nice.
