    what ratio do you ride? i was thinking of riding 46/17. just wanna see what folks are riding around the town. so i can find a good ratio for me.

    thats about right for all the elevation change. figure it out yourself!

    I rode 42/16 while I was still there. I found myself spinning like mad, but I would smoke anyone off the line. It worked for me, but 46/16 is probably ideal. Mind you, I lived near the UW campus, so it's not as if it was super hilly.

    I usually ride 46/16, but right now I'm suck with a shitty 45 T chain ring. 46/16 is my fav ratio.
