    does anyone know why bmx brake levers do NOT fit on road bars.

    the reason i ask is simply because BMX brake levers are always a bit more "fun" , than any of the cross levers i was able to find.

    please help

    because bmx bars are not the same diameter as road bars.

    BMX bars are a little smaller, but with a little bit of time and a dremel, you can use about any bmx lever on a drop bar.

    though its a long shot, some bmx brake levers come road sized with a shim for bmx handle bar diameter. see if the ones youre thinking of are like that.

    you could always get bmx bars on your road bike. hahaha but hey, im all into frankienbikes!
