I've been using an ENO hub from white ind. for converting road frames- once on a trek ttx conversion (recently disassembled because of disgust with myself) and now on a waterford road bike.
-The trek had such tight tire clearance at the bb and brake bridge that adjusting the eccentric to proper chain tension AND good wheel alignment was almost impossible. But that's the fault of trek's little carbon toys, not the hub.
-The waterford has ample clearance, and the hub is much easier to adjust on this frame as a result. You've really got to torque that shit down-I mean really hard, especially on the drive side, or else the hub swivels forward just a tiny bit, and slackens the chain slightly.
OVerall- Eno is a great design. Simple concept, elegant manufacturing, and good bearings.
Has anyone else used it, and what's your opinion? -

I have one, im selling it right now. I dont personally like it but that's because i dont need 3 fixies. ill take my conversion or my Leader over my ENO giant TCR any day. Its just too tricky for me to adjust every time i change tires or gearing...but as far as i know it is the only clean-looking conversion option though.
