hello velo world...
So i just got my Phil Wood BB for the Pista Concept. I am putting it in for adjustment with the Sugino 75 crankset and was wondering if there was anyone with the same set up who could tell me how much of the cups were exposed and on what side for the proper chainline? as it looks right now i have about 2 and 1/2 trheads exposed on the crankside and 1/2 thread on the left side. does this sound proper?
thanks so much! -

It also depends on what hubs you are riding, and also what cog. Basically, just follow the directions on the Phil Wood website on how to install their bottom bracket and you will get it right on. You must adjust it for YOUR frame and set up, because it won't be exactly identical on anyone else's bike. One of the steps requires you to put the whole thing together and get it set perfect, THEN take it ALL back apart again so you can lock-tight in the cups and torque it all down.
I use a 110.5mm phil wood BB with Sugino 75s. -
