I could get a new Mercier Kilo TT or a used '08 chrome Bianchi Pista for a pretty good deal but I would rather have one that doesn't have as harsh of an angle. Although I love track bikes, I'd also love to be comfortable. Does anyone know the geometry of these bikes and know how comfortable they are for road use? Thanks in advance. -

kilo tt = road geo
pista = track
i think comfort more depends on your set-up & body type -

For fuck's sake man, just buy a frame or test some out or do a google search. you aren't buying a cadillac, you're buying a dodge. You ask more questions than a mother in law, and i'm not knockng you for asking, but with the content of the questions, i have a feeling you won't notice a lick of difference whichever one you buy. at this point, youre merely asking us if YOU prefer coke or pepsi. we can tell you what we like, and why, but you have to try it yourself.
also, rabbi. the pista is 1 degree shallower than the kilo, in teh size he wants. so, technically, the pista is more suited for road. they are both 1.5-3* shallower than "twitchy" track geometry. i ride a 75* on teh street, which is fine for me. both of these bikes fall into the mid range for geometry. -

You are not going to notice a difference between the two frames. Personally, I would rather ride a Pista.
You will notice most difference with your stem length/height, type of bars, seat height and set back or straight seatpost. -

i just looked up the 09 geometry. oops. looks like they changed the geometry a bit from my 05. my headtube was 74.5, now they are 72.5 (for a 57). but the pista still has 12mm less rake, which makes for a more twitchy ride. plus the kid is 5' 11" and he wants to get a 50cm? in a 53cm or 55cm (which i think he should get in the mercier & 55cm or 57cm in the pista). -

Haha yeah I do ask a lot of questions but I never knew that'd bother people. I know I'm not going for top of the line, well, because I don't have a ton of money to spend on a nice bike. With that, that's why I want to make sure what I get is right for me so I don't regret what I buy. But thank you guys for your help. -
