velospace used to promote alleycats and bicycling events on its homepage. Over time those sponsorships dried up - but now with the forum feel free to post up your alley cats, fliers, events, and whatever else. There is a category for alleycats and events so people can search for them as well.

Tempe, AZ. It's actually next month, not eleven months ago. I put the wrong year.

It's pretty much about fifteen stops in a single square mile neighborhood the locals call "hipster compton." It's all residential, but the roads get confusing as hell and there are a lot of blind turns and roadblocks, so it should be really intense.

No one is making videos of these?

    Bicycles at Borders.
It started with just myself and a few friends, as other riders would see us or we'd see them- we would say hello introduce ourselves, and before you knew it people were coming back every friday, for coffee, chilling, riding around, slide compitions, tricks, sprints, girls, or whatever, there are rides too- depending on how we all feel. Everyones welcome to join in.

Who? Anyone from San Jose, Milpitas, San Francisco, Oakland, Fremont, Sunnyvale... doesnt matter.
Where? Borders in Milpitas CA. Google it.
When? Usually people just show up through out the night but ill throw a number out, 8-12pm.

email or pm for more information or questions.
PS: sorry for late posting but it happens every friday, so if you cant make it this time because of my short notice, then hope to see you out next week.

EDIT: Apparently, the [IMG SRC] tag here is case-sensitive; caps work, lower-case doesn't. The wonders of the Web never cease to annoy...
