I'm new to the bike world, and I can't seem to find what threaded/threadless means.
Thanks for the help,

Threaded system uses a threaded steerer tube that connects to a headset adjustable crown race, to hold the fork to the frame. The threaded fork must be cut and threaded to an exact specification to fit a frame. Ex. a 59cm threaded fork will not work on a 51cm frame.
Threadless does not have any threading on the steerer tube instead there is a hex bolt inside of the steerer tube that presses down a top cap on the stem or spacers, compressing them into the head tube. Thus, holding the fork to the frame.
Its hard to explain without using bike jargon...
hope that helped...? Maybe a diagram would work better
