just put my new bike together but theres one problem im still on a quick release cheap POS road wheel. anyone have any suggestions or wanna sell me a front wheel. I have thought of the deep V but i think i wanna go with something a little more classic but doesnt lack in durability. Im ridin a alex rim in the back no problems yet so i think im just gonna ride it out its gonna take the most hits anyway. any ideas??

    why is it cheap?

    what is the hub?

you can make a very cheap and junky "deep v", just choose the wrong hub

your front wheel isn't cheap just because it's a road wheel or it has a quick release, how does it spin?
nothing wrong with a quick release campy record or dura ace front wheel on a track bike, give me that over a "deep v" any day
  2.
you think so? well the reason i say cheap and shitty is cause it came stock on some schwinn bike and the springs for the release need fixing which i know can be done. I just much rather have a unmachined wheel

I put an aerospoke on my bike over the weekend. It weighs considerably more than a Velocity rim. heads up.

I dont think its any secret that aerospokes weigh a ton..

IMO you should have rocked a velocity deep v over the aerospoke.
  4.
Aerospokes are the most heavy. If you're gonna spend that kind of green get a deep v with a. Phil hub, rolls ultra smooth, and just as durable as an aerospoke if built correctly.

i dont think i would ever get a aerospoke. Did think about the philwood hub on a deep V. whats a good site to purchase wheels as singles?

just buy the parts online and have your local bike shop build up the wheel for you or learn how to do it
