I'm building a GT Pulse and my Kenesis forks don't have the clearance i want. I started shopping around only to discover that i don't know **** about fork types, what rake to look for, or even how to measure for a good bar-spin set-up. Anyone wanna help?
  1.
the main thing to take into consideration for barspins is the frame size and the angle between head and down tube. if you ride 56cm or smaller with a 73 or 74 degree head tube you will find it difficult (but not impossible) to spin a 700c front wheel. as far as rake goes the best rake for barspins is zero rake. of you frame takes a fork and wheel with zero rake you can spin all day long.

fork clearance, which really should be wheel clearance to be correct, is determined by the tube length of each tube in the main triangle of the frame, the angle and length of the head tube of the frame and the size of your front wheel.
