General: "Seamus Murphy" frames on Ebay

Nomco (aka Neil O Murphy) bought a lot of IRO frames a few years ago from the BFSSFG group buy and sold them at a large markup on eBay (they paid $150 per frame, then tried to sell them for $320). Nomco is not affiliated with IRO.

The guy has a pretty bad reputation for buying other cheap parts and frames, mixing them up, painting them, whatever, and then attempting to resell them at a large profit. Most notable, other than the BFSSFG group buy, are his listings of resprayed Kilo TT frames at something like 150% of the original BikesIsland price, along with throwing the TT's original components on piece of shit frames which he then tried to sell at an equally high markup.

His painting/powder-coating has, at least in the past, been some of the worst I've ever seen. Including powder-coating over fender screws and eyelets (rendering them completely useless), and sometimes even powder-coating over a powder-coat.

His more recent trash doesn't seem as bad, but there is no way to tell what he is really selling. Based on all the horrendous shit he has perpetrated on eBay in the past, avoid Nomco like the plague.

I should also mention that the BFSSFG group buy was a large volume purchase of IRO frames, made from Dedacciai COM 12.5 tubing (same as the Bare Knuckle), direct from the company, organized by the SS/Fixed Gear section of BikeForums.net
