    Hey I have an old, yet gorgeous all black Cannondale, early 80's with matching all black Suntour Superbe Pro components, cinelli handlebars, stem, seatpost, saddle, etc. and Its time for me to sell its, I was wondering how much I should ask for it. So your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

    Dude, sounds like you probably have a Black Lightning. Late 80s early 90s.. Post the serno and some pics or message them to me and we'll figure it out. The BLs were all over the spectrum as far as componentry goes so the year, components, originality, and the current state of repair and paint all play a part. They're uncommon and sought after, but not rare. I've seen them go anywhere from $250 to $700. Oh, serno will most likely be on the left chainstay or seatstay.

    well I have my matching men and women schwinn suburbans that Im saving(they are near mint), schwinn racer(3spd) project, 74 varsity(first SS)it was my moms from new, the blue cannondale, guerciotti SS, Gunnar mtb, Orbea, Colnago(road project). Im pretty sure that is it, the only rideable ones now are the gunnar and guerciotti, and the suburbans.

    I'm building a 25" '88 ST700 and have a a 58cm '89 3.0 Road (SR) frame that is waiting for a paint. I'll be posting the pics of the stripped down '88 here shortly on a build thread. I'm not sure what I'll do with the '89 yet, it's a bit on the short side, maybe build it as a psyclo-cross...
