    Niall Gengler's the man who taught me how to weld, I can highly recommend his frames. ngcycles.com

    There's also the guy who works at Laughing Dog in Amherst. I think his name is Jesse, but I don't know much about his stuff.

    I was just hanging out with Niall at the cyclocross races the other day, and Jesse Savoian from Laughing Dog powder coated my frame. Good guy.

    You're a fellow Hampster! Are you still around here?

    Also, I guess I'm looking not just for frame builders, but people who are enthusiastic bike... hackers? Building from components.
