the 950 had threading for 5-7t freewheel on one side and for fixed gear on the other side. -

I had an old 950 disc once. It had a hollow road axel with 126mm spacing. But apparently only Zipp can retrofit these discs with a solid/track axel kit. They charge $350 to outfit older model Zipp discs with a Zipp 182 track hub. Plus I would have had to pay for shipping both ways. The disc was sold. -

How old is the disc? Some came with spacers and others were just "screw on".
Old 950/1150 Zipps are double sided, and can take a standard 10 mm STRAIGHT (no bearing retainers, etc) axle. Spacing them can be a bitch without the real spacers, but any good bike shop should give you a solution without resulting to washers.
The hollow Zipp axle can take a bolted axle, or take the screw on cap screws that Zipp still sells. My dropouts don't fit the cap screws (they're about the size of a nickle, or about maybe 2 cm??), so I use a bolt through on mine. Good enough for time trials with a slow start, maybe not good enough for 1600 watt sprinting, but if you're running that high wattage you aren't running hacked together Zipps.
