Nah, it's just like the information desk. Same questions, different people.. (where's the restroom?) Granted a little research goes a long way, but an unasked question is the dumbest of all.. Especially where safety is concerned. -

Because they always turn into really comical photoshop threads? :) -

haha yeah i could see that. but for real he is just annoying, it's not even like his threads are about safety or anything. Also with him being on the forums asking stupid questions like this you would think he would be an expert at bike mechanics / safety but alas he is just an idiot. -

I am with you gios, half the questions he asked have been asked and answered before, on the internet and on this site. -

Need I mention "when I see an unlocked bike that's not mine, should I deflate either or both tires to deter thieves?" guys?
I dont know if we need greg on this one, maybe so, or we just need to make a conscious effort to ignore. -

I agree with this completely. Asking on the forum should happen after at least a little research, no matter how complex (or stupid) the question. But, in the end, would you rather he didn't ask about deflating tires and just do it? Probably not, especially if it were your bike. However stupid or meaningless a question may seem to you, it may be genuinely important to the asker.
Don't get me wrong, lickedwicked does ask some pretty ridiculous questions, says things that are completely and utterly stupid, and does sometimes seem to be asking to be given shit. If that bugs you, choose to ignore his threads, be my guest. But if that is the case, starting and then commenting on a thread about ignoring him is pretty counterproductive, especially when it is titled "why does everyone fuel his fire.." Why not just set up a "Not For LickedWicked" club? At least that way he will know the score before he starts commenting on it. -

Does anyone remember the days of TonmyT? lickedwicked practically turned into a saint. People were complementing him and a thread was even started mourning his death because he didn't sign on for a week or something. Lickedwicked may ask silly questions, but what would velospace be without him? -

If anything that proves the lickedwicked is entertaining in moderation. 1 thread a week would be funny. 1 thread a day is just, well... -

Some where back on one of his posts I stated that I would no longer read anything posted by him OR any response by him. I’m just too lazy to find & quote it here.
I’ve got nothing against him personally; I just couldn’t take his annoyance any longer. -
