What is the best price/quality '18t x 1/8th' fixed cog to purchase? Got a lil dough to spend, but not made of money. Looking for the best bang for the buck.

Will different cogs effect my chain-line? Currently I have a Pake frame, Sugino 75 crank and chainring on a Champy Voloce BB, Surly fixed/free back hub, and a 1/8th Izumi Eco chain.

My EAI cog has been great so far, i think it was $30. Everyone has good things to say about Phil Wood cogs, which are about $50.
  2.
I've got a Dura-Ace 14t cog on my Track Shark.....not sure about the weight, but it's been a tank so far.

Just get a Surly Cog for your Surly hub.

I don't really like Euro Asia cogs as they're pretty thick on the hub, but they wear forever and are great for the street. Make sure your lockring is on there good though.

Race bike use, I'd just (and do) run DA cogs.

    dura ace is pretty good

how can you say "a cog rides well"? I guess i just haven't had any problems with mine (soma), or just never rode a reallllllly nice cog to know the difference.

just wondering has anyone used a Godspeed cog? If so, how is it? I've found nothing review-wise on google and can only find one bike that has a Godspeed cog on Velospace via the search function.
