Well, had a box fall against my front wheel on the Colnago and taco'd it. I had built 2 wheelsets in 1985 the primary being a Campy/Ambrosio which is what was damaged. After months of searching I am not able to replace the damaged rim (it was difficult to find originally) so I picked up a "new" wheelset which is Superbe Pro/Araya aero rims. The second set that I built in '85 was Campy/Campy and have never had a set of tires on them other than to stretch out new tubulars. Though I've made my decision, I thought I'd share the pics with you all of the two different wheels and invite discussion.
Okay, so maybe I don't have this right.. input as to how to post?

Those are some nice photos. I like the white on white color scheme on white background. I would do one of those asinine text smiley faces here... If they weren't so asinine. -

I know, I'm just messing with you. I don't know that Google Docs stuff can be hot linked... One moment. -

I downloaded them and threw them up on my website... I have never used Google Docs and so I can't help you with the hotlinking issue. If you just want to post images on the forum I would suggest using photobucket or tinypic. -

Marinoni in Lachenaie, Quebec has a shit load of Ambrosio's "Methamorphosis", Syntesis", "Nemesis" in 32/36 holes tub rims along with a lot of Campagnolo rims but not the high end ones. Look them up on the web. -

Well, the rim that I was looking for is a 32h Ambrosio Elite Durex Aero and is a clincher. It was extremely hard to find in '85 and I've yet to see another, even when I was bopping around Italy.. So I'll sell the good one that's left and rebuild the wheels with the Campy hubs at a later date. Thanks for the tip though.
