Hey I did a search and did not find anyone giving a review of these cranks but was wondering if anyone had an opinion (either direct of indirect) about the FSA cranks. If I am not mistaken the popular suginos most people have on this site are aluminum, so if you have an opinion on carbon that would be helpful too. I am hoping to replace my stock integrated crankset with something that will last for a while and I have been looking at sugino 75 and a couple of others. I have a very mediocre frame with a couple of improved components but want to make one last good upgrade on my bike before getting another frame in the next year and using both interchangeably. I am seeing some decent deals on ebay for suginos and FSAs, and I am leaning towards 170-175mm because thats what have now. Also, if anyone knows whether or not somebody makes a good integrated crankset (chainring is part of rest of crank) please let me know. It may be a dumb question, but the stock crankset I have is like that and was curious whether these were legit. Thanks -

oh and sorry for the confusion maybe integrated was not what I meant...i know a lot of cranksets come without chainrings or the ones they do come with are crap and are changed to dura ace or something like that so I was wondering which brand automatically includes a good chainring with its crankset -

The new carbon pros or the older ones? I've heard good things about the new ones (with the full carbon arm and spider), but I've had the old ones (carbon arm to an alloy spider), and they were nothing special (even with a titanium Crank Brothers bottom bracket). A really old set of SG75s came on a bike I recently purchased, and they are very nice. -

Thanks quidose. I am assuming the old ones because what I saw on ebay seems to be the same as what I saw on online stores that mention the spider as being aluminum. I will keep that in mind. In reality, i would rather go with a more reliable brand like sugino or dura ace if the full carbon one is much more expensive than the older version. Do you have any suggestions other than a sugino 75 in the mid to upper range that I could find at a good price, used or new? -

Sram omniums have been getting really good reviews on this site and others and you can get the arms, bottom bracket, and chainring for less than sugino 75 arms. They are the way of the future I guess. -

DO NOT buy the FSA's with the carbon arm to alloy spider ! terrible design, and they will start slipping , and become trash after a decent amount of riding . The new ones which are all carbon, are great . The chainring that comes with it is nice as well . -

I just purchased the FSA isis carbon track crankset (carbon spider), and realized i would need a new bottom bracket, seeing that I have a square taper on mine. Is there a bottom bracket anyone would recommend as far as performance and price are concerned? I have an EAI Bareknuckle. Thank you -

your options are pretty limited.
I got a Token Ti/Carbon BB off eBay for about $35. I use it with a carbon FSA SL-K compact crankset on my Fuji Roubaix. It's stiff; it's light. Quite serviceable. -

You can use a Crank Brothers Cyan ISIS bottom bracket. I used the titanium version with mine, but you can get the Chromo one for around $50. -
