What are you riding plans for the holiday weekend (for all of us American velospace users at least)?

I'm going to finally check out a path near my house and get the cross bike out for some much needed mileage
  1.
Get new pedals set up and go out all over NYC and try to find new places.
  2.
Well I plan on getting my colnago back from being redone, but sadly no parts to put on it yet. So therefore im going to check out some trails that are oddly right by my house(I can ride there so close!!)

Might take out the orbea for a longer ride, put on different bar setup for that, might go to some state parks for some MTB action!!!

Also go to a LBS and see team astana and get some signatures, that should be fun!!

saturday will be taken up largely by the u-m football game, which under ordinary circumstances i would gladly pass on except my older son is marching with the band at halftime, and that is too cool to miss. sunday i'll head out to sharon mills, though, 50-ish miles, and then just see what monday brings (besides rain, that is).
  3.
gonna search san jose and stockton for the right set of pedals clips and straps for the KHS and finally take it out for a ride
  4.
im going on a 50 miler and then geting baked at the end of it

Sneezing in bed since my office mates decided to get me sick the day before my four day weekend :|

Hopefully I'll recover quickly enough to enjoy at least a day of riding in the cool(er) weather we've been having in Houston this week.

It's baking here. Not Las Vegas-style baking, but bad enough.

Today: Heading down to Oakland Chinatown, to see if the VW dealer will get me a replacement for a lost key (mislaid mine almost two weeks ago; I'm going to need to drive again someday). As a reward for dealing with that ugliness, I'll see if the poultry market has fresh duck again, buy a loofah, stop in at the deli for Hungarian apricot brandy, and pick up a Vietnamese weird-meat sandwich for snackage.

Tonight: Got to head back to Oakland to pick up a set of Suntour barcons.

Tomorrow: Probably a long bayside ride.

Sunday: As part of this weekend's closure of the SF Bay Bridge, San Francisco is doing its Sunday Streets thing on the Great Highway, alongside Ocean Beach. I was thinking of taking BART over, then biking out that way; I haven't decided whether to bike over the center of town (quite a rise from downtown up to Haight/Ashbury, before you can head through Golden Gate Park), or to circumnavigate the city, heading around the waterline past North Beach, the Marina, the Golden Gate Bridge and Seacliff before heading down Ocean Beach. I may also need to pick up a TA cyclotouriste crankset while I'm over there, assuming the Craigslist deal pans out.

    Monday: Hmmm....
EDIT: Ooo, maybe head over to the Giro di San Francisco...

All weekend: Keep my eyes open for racks, and Nitto Noodle bars.
