So I'm super excited because my Chrome bag finally came in the mail today, so I put it up for my first field test: Getting groceries.
This is how the bike and load looked coming home...it was an interesting ride, but only a few blocks away...thank god for living in midtown.
This is what all I fit in the bag! I'm so happy I got it, especially since it was on sale for $100. That is a 5-lb bag of sugar, six pack of beer, ice cream, milk, cereal, two cans of beans, tortillas, and other random things..... I was surprised it all fit! All in all, it was about thirty pounds of stuff and I was able to tote it like a champ! On the way home, I even passed some guy that was riding light, up a hill....I felt like a BAMF. -

Yo man dibs on that sick ass Kellogg's clock! Does that joint actually come in the cereal box or are you gonna have to clip a bunch of UPCs and send away for it? Either way, dibs.
Ps. Timmy I'm kinda worried about your health. Sixer of Mt. Dew? Sugar cereal? Ice cream?!? Alls I'm sayin is I don't see one block of tofu in that nice new bag of yours. -

Alright I'm glad we got that cleared up. Now if you'll just box up that clock for me once you get it out of your cereal tomorrow morning we'll be golden. -

I've been living on the West Coast for too long... I spy a 6 pack of Magic Hat in the product mix. They don't distribute to this part of the country; it really bums me out that I've never seen that variety.. and I won't without a 6 hour plane ride. Boo! -

This stuff is good, I haven't tried their other varieties, but the summer brew is awesome. It's colored with beet juice so its pink too, but I never see that, b/c I drink it from the bottle.Posted By: ohsodistant.........how's the taint?
Holding up fairly well actually. This whole time riding in the city, I've yet to hurt my taint *knocks on wood* -

What part of Nor Cal!!???? I've completely thread jacked....but I was told that Pyramid and Magic Hat have some type of reciprocal brewing agreement, but that Magic Hat wouldn't be available until January on the West Coast. Man do I miss it. I can almost taste an ice cold #9. -

Nah man, no thread jacking here, I love bikes and I love beer. What is #9 like? I've heard mixed reviews from friends... -

north of sf. costco at least for sure. started noticing it had made it here about a year ago. and yea, #9 will always have mixed reviews. it's kind of a weird faintly fruity/vegetably pale ale - only like 4.6% abv. i'll say that it is okay. but there are Definitely better beers to drink. but their summer variety pack is sometimes fun to have and a good deal if it's on sale. -

more companies should measure bag capacity by cans of beer as bailey works does.

dear greg,
did you make those two bag calculators just now? Because that is genius. I joined velospace to get help with mechanical/maintenance issues with my bike, and to browse through bikes I could never own. This is like more than I ever imagined I could ever get out of a website. My internet experience is now complete.
Also, I am quite entertained by these random comments by members who joined 1.2 hrs ago, and would like to hypothesize that these are current velospace users who are making the cold evenings so much better for all of us. Someone has to post them, and it seems very incomprehensible that random people with nothing to do come across velospace as a platform to attack the US food and entertainment industry. This is all too priceless to be true. -

Dont take it seriously. Velospace knows that suicide and joshua are the ones who should get a room to spare us all from their awkward sexual tension. -
