    Hey, to be fair, Ben's is (by all appearances) the only place online selling the rim solo. And I bet looking at that page would lead most people to assume that the rim is available for complete builds only, even though you can clearly order the rim by itself. Not to mention the fact that the page makes clear that some rims need to be special ordered. Altogether, Scottybonesss, I feel your pain.

    BTW, unless you're putting a B43 on a bike with giant tubes, they're pretty wrong-looking.

    Took me about 6 seconds to type "velocity b43" into google and see them come up for sale. Shit, it took longer to make this post. Ugh.

    Huh?! So what was the point of this tread? You already KNOW where to buy them at. Why would they have sent you two broken rims? And if they did, they would just send you two new ones. I don't get it.

    Alright now that's goofy. Ben's has been sending us idiots parts for a long while now and has a very good reputation for doing it right.
    Some of the prices on the site are goddamn absurd but I have a very hard time believing you are the one and only customer they keep sending broken rims to.

    Listen, just call your LBS and have them order a rim for you and you'll be set. If it's broken when it gets there you obviously won't have to pay for it.

    Right on. Well if you can't find anything local and just want a front wheel shipped to you I recommend you send Steve (steve@bellsbikeshop.com) at Bell's in Philly an email and tell him what you want. They sell a ton of wheelsets on eBay (most of the B43 wheelsets on there are theirs) and charge pretty fair prices. They also ship for free. They're more than happy to build up whatever wheel you want. If you just want a green B43 laced to a formula or something they probably already have one of those built and ready to ship.
    They've got lime green B43s and olive mist B43s in stock usually. A B43 laced to a Miche Primato high flange front hub would cost you around $160 shipped, formula hub a little less probably.
    They also have a Website but that's just kind of a front end for their eBay auctions. It's best to just toss em an email and let em know what you're looking for.
    Pro Wheelbuilder is also a very reliable source for custom wheels. I don't think they have green B43s though (they've got the rims, but not many colors).

    See dude there's where you go wrong. There's where ALL you noobs go very wrong. You ask a dumb question, you get fucked with a tiny bit, but then you usually will get useful answers. What you do, as a noob, is realize you're a noob, take a little shit, just deal with it, say thanks, then when you start figuring things out you get to talk a little shit too.
    Being a crybaby though will get you nowhere fast. I'm half tempted to just delete my post giving you links to actual places that have your wheel for a good price but we'll just let your indiscretion slide this one time. :)

    I call bullshit. Ben's stands behind their shit and if they don't Velocity does. If you do try to contact Velocity try not being an obnoxious prick, understand that sometimes bad shit gets out there and that they want you to continue buying stuff from them.
