    Wood is an extremely strong material, a naturally growing composite. Knowing how to make it work is an inspiring challenge for a craftsman.

    Gridplan, it depends on the ass. I've seem some mighty, mighty fine asses on bikes.

    With that said, wooden frames are quite cool. There is a craftsman in Japan who makes wooden frames that, if money were no object, I'd buy in a heartbeat:

    It's in reference to the OP's desire to be reincarnated as a wooden bike. I say no thanks. You could find yourself being ridden by the Lampre guy.
