I think they were Specialized plastic clips. I cut them down and dremmeled new holes to lace the straps thru. The pedals were SAKAE Low Fat mtn. ...I use Egg Beaters and Sixsixone shoes on it now.

Spoils the bike? Isn't that a bit harsh? It's not like I threw lime green deep V's on it. The Campy post it came with is just too short for my giant legs. I threw this on so I can use the bike while I figure out a period correct alternative. Personally I think the pedals and clips are a bigger sin against nature then the post. :)
